Looking to purchase a rubber floor mat for my 51 F-1, checked Mac's Auto Parts but the one they have listed states it was made from and old mold had has some issues, anyone buy one from MAC's and if so how bad is it?

 

I bought one and found it quite fine. Didn't see any obvious blemishes and have been using for the past year without issue.

I'm pretty sure the only actual manufacturer is Dennis Carpenter. You might call them and find out what the story is in detail.

 

Are they very different than the 53-56 f100?

 

Now that I think about it, I bought my mat 9 yrs ago, and it has a couple of places where the ribbing has a molded-in extra ridge in it, like the mold has a scratch in it. It's near the trans tunnel at the toe board. If that's what they are talking about, it's truly minor.

 

Totally different floor shape. The later truck is much larger than a 48-52.
