57 find at junk yard also F500 ????

I have been visiting junk yards looking for a 8 ft Flairside bed to fit my 62 4x4. No luck but here are a couple pictures of a couple finds in OKC if you guys are interested.... call the junk yard.... 405-670-0787

I did not get too close.... darn posion ivy attacks me if I get within 10 feet.

Fun to see the pics. Thanks for posting them. Too far for me though. That F100 is a '59 by the way!

I am not familar with these years. I was going by the tag info which is attached below the other pictures, it has a date code of "7" if I read dit correct.

If you were going by the grill, maybe it was replaced, if you were going by the tree branch, the number of growth rings indicated it was a 1957.

Looks like the fifth character is a "9", to me!

Learned 2 things new today.... I was looking at the second line under DATE which I now guess to be the day and month code for 1959? 07K??

Orange F series truck is a '59, the Black F series truck is a '60.

07K = Assembled October (K) 7, 1959.

A = January, M = December. The letter I is omitted.

There is another one of those F10J models! Does anyone know what that means? I have a 1959 F250 with model F25J. I always wondered if it had anything to do with this weird flatbed I have.

I was told th J is for the 223 engine on this year.
