Has any one tried the forced induction route? Id like to consider it after i get the engine broken in.
There has to be a kit out there. Any advice?

I just spent what may have been a supercharger for the truck on a new dirt bike, so that idea's done....for a little while at least. Check this thread though:

Here's a F150 (w/ a 6.2) that received a supercharger:

what kind of bike did you get Matt? I have a 2006 Yahama 250F that is now a garage princess. All of my friends have now sold their bikes, but I refuse to bc I will never get the $ that its worth.

Just picked up a '13 KTM 350 XCF-W (plated). This thing is crazy, has about 10 more hp than my 650 and is over 100lbs lighter. g My wife wanted me to sell my XR650 but it literally costs me $10/month in insurance and I get 5x the mpg's that I'd get in my truck. Plus it's fun. haa haa..

Ive got a 02 Yamaha YZ250F too, I haven't ridden it in over a year , but I'm not selling either. I won't get any kind of money out of it so ill just hang on to it. I'll get it running again soon.

Yeah, I just run it around the neighborhood every couple months. It's practically band new. I figured I'll keep it for when I have kids one day...hopefully I have a boy.

Continuing with the ot theme, my garage has 2 Yammies- yz125 & yz450f- best of both worlds! The 125 is modded while the thumper is stock (thank God). The difference between the two is about night and day.The 125 absolutely does not like trail ridding while the 450 will hill climb but a Sherman tank would be it's equivalent.

For us Midwesterners, Land between the Lakes (KY) is a must. We usually go a week or so before school starts back up, camping and trails are wide open, and for $8 per tent, you can spend the money you save and put it in fuel...

Have you seen this setup? Wow! I hope the terrible whistling sound can be overcome. I assume that's unmuffled turbos. How anyone could drive around with that constant sound is beyond me. 800+ horsepower is most impressive. But I wonder how usable it is (e.g. Towing), and what the mileage penalty is.

I think I could deal with the whistling if I was putting those kind of numbers to the ground.

Also remember, the hoods up and they're in a garage. My truck (stock) sounds much better/louder in my own garage.

Something tells me that if you are in a position and mindset to purchase a Hennessey Twin Turbo'd Raptor, none of the things you mentioned as issues would be issues...lol
