Monster Truck Van...
My Ranger died and I'
ll be damned if Im stuck with a soccer mom ride. I want to swap out the sub frame for an f-150 frame and lift the whole thing later on.
If anyone has any links or local shop info that can help...cuz I have no idea just how in the f*** to put the frame under a unibody after I remove the subframe....
and if anyone has pics of their suspensions on a ford with a 4 inch lift...I am looking for ideas for the future.

Interesting point of view you have there. What kind of van are you talking about? It will be difficult at the least to line up a unibody van on the long front frame of a F-150. I am not saying it can't be done, it's just gonna be a challenge. What year F-150 are you looking at chopping up? As for local shops? we will first need to know where you are for one of us to be able to help out on that one. Welcome to the F.T.E.

95 Windstar.
I am looking at the 97 F-150 Short bed regular cab 4x4 specifically, by wheel base.
Im in Raleigh but willing to use anywhere in a 50 mile radius.
Thanks, Wp....I have never been accused of following any particular path except odd... I dont like mainstream or everyday. I want different and challenging. Now mind you, it will take prolly a year to get this all done and I'll have to find another truck..but once I catch a sniff of different...well, this old dog dont let go...lol
My biggest thing is the swap and any knowledge anyone has, books or links and so on.
I know it can be done, I have seen 3 windstar on frames. One as a Mudder and 2 mores as Monster truck vans....its just finding the source of those pics and sourcing them to the owner that built them is kinda like herding cats....
