Does Unplugging the EGR Valve affect the cooling fan function or performance?

Duh, brain fart. If I pull the EGR without the delete kit I would have exhaust gases running into the manifold all the time. That photo does show me where that hose is that is probably leaking though. Looks like a real joy to get to.
