2013 Ford Explorer Sync question

We will hit 2000 miles tomorrow in our 2013 Explorer and absolutely love it. Come a long ways since our first 94 and the current 2000 which only has 48k miles on it. Ours is White Platinum Limited with 4wd, Sync w/Nav, trailer tow, luxury seating and 301A pkg. It's already been to the mountains where it did great - the manual shifting came in handy on some of those steep grades. Took a little bit to learn the Sync system - but so far so good with no issues to report.

Question I have is for all of you with the Sync system and which Android phones you are using. My wife and I both have the HTC Evo and while it pairs fine and voice calls and music play there are obviously some limitations with the older phone. Phone calls and address book functions have no problems at all. Media playback however there is no song information being displayed over BT but does work if you use USB. Getting ready to upgrade phones for Christmas but want the most functionality I can get - this is on Sprint BTW.

Looking at the LG Optimus G or the Samsung Galaxy SIII at the moment but would love to know what you all have working.

Wow.... 60 views and no comments. I'm used to the Excursion and other forums on this site which get way more traffic. Time to spice this forum up!!

No one has any input on the phone they are using with Sync?

Side question - anyone know how to turn down the voice guidance on the Nav? If you try using the voice commands it says it does something but it is still loud no matter how many times I do it.

I'm sure you figured out how to turn down the nav voice by now. If not, when the voice sounds, simply adjust the volume down. You can only adjust it while the nav voice is sounding.

I have a Samsung Note 2 and BT streaming displays song/artist info.
