What's the difference between white and grey jugs. Is it just the white being antigel?
The white bottle is SIGIFICANTLY cheaper than the grey on amazon; $13.33 for 80oz.
Will MPG suffer from use of the white bottle like winter fuel or can I use it just like the grey bottle for much less cash?
I think one is for winter and the other is for summer. Can't remember which, but i have been using it for a few years now. The winter blend is the same as the summer except for the anti-gelling factor.

I know. The white bottle is the winter version. My question is the white different from the grey in its cleaning/cetane aspects or is it just also an antigel and if so will the anti gel cause less MPG like winter fuel?
This is from the Diesel Kleen website...
Silver bottle:
Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost is a technologically advanced diesel engine performance improver that cleans injectors, boosts cetane and lubricates fuel injection components. This Max HP Formula restores lost power, smooths rough-running engines and improves fuel economy up to 8%. Diesel Kleen can be used year-around, but it is not a diesel fuel winterizer or antigel. When winter temperatures drop below + 30°F. use Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost (in the white bottle) to provide maximum winter protection for your diesel engine.
White bottle
Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost is an antigel/winterizer that is used in the cold winter months to keep fuel-filters from plugging with wax and to prevent fuel gelling. This Arctic Formula effectively treats all diesel fuels to keep equipment running trouble-free for maximum winter operability. Diesel Fuel Supplement is intended for use only during cold winter months when temperatures drop below + 30°F. Use Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost (in the silver bottle) for peak performance in non-winter months. If your vehicle will not start or gain power in cold temperatures, use Diesel 911 (in the red bottle) as directed on the container label.

5. Will it hurt my engine to use Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost year-around, even though it contains an antigel for winter operation?
Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost will not hurt or harm any diesel motor if used year-around. Diesel Fuel Supplement is a multi-functional additive that has been on the market for over 40 years and has a proven record of excellent performance by thousands of diesel fuel users.
It doesn't say anything about mpg... might have to keep looking for that..
It most definitly improves miles per gallon. With my truck it seemed to improve power and quieten the injectors as soon as I added it. Probably because my injectors were durty from 140,000 miles without any additives befor.

Usually both blends are about the same price. If you can get the white bottle for a good price, jump on it.
I have used the white bottle in Summer time without any noticeable change from the gray bottle.
Diesel Kleen also offers the 911 formula. This is usually used for fuel that is already gelled up. I have not had to use that stuff out here in California
hi Justin, I use either one winter or summer. The fuel in our area is already blended to prevent gelling in the winter. The important thing is for the fuel dealers to sell their summer fuel in time to fill their tanks with winter fuel before it is too cold. (Northern Canada) Generally winter and summer fuel is blended as winter fuel is added to summer fuel in late summer or fall.

Gotcha. I am sure it gets a lot colder where you are compared to here. We do have winter blend fuel out here too, but I am not sure what the process is regarding when they begin filling the tanks with it.
