slippery steering wheel help

Hey guys,

I've been having a difficult time with my steering wheel in the Navigator. It's so dry on the top half, that I have to be careful to grip it very tightly; it's that dry! I'm guessing it's from all the direct sunlight and high heat here in TX.

I've tried leather conditioner and it worked very nicely for the bottom portion, but no change in the upper, larger portion of the steering wheel. It's almost a safety concern for me since it feels like it will slip out of my grip at any moment. I'm considering going to an upholstery shop to get it wrapped in new, but wondered if there was any miracle leather products you guys use.

Thanks
