Steering replacement options

My steering box is leaking and has a lot of play so I want to replace it. I found an '02 f250 box, guy says its the side-side not front-rear style, do you guys think this could be made to work kinda simply? Other options include converting to manual steering, or spending all the extra money to get a new steering box and everything. Also, how do you get it off te frame?

Advance Autoparts list the 4wd box at 175.09 and 2wd at 139 for PS, and like 235 for manual. Do I need a new(is it pitman or drop arm that comes off te frame to connect to axle)? The ring in it broke and fell out when te axle twisted in the wreck(bought it wrecked).

call Red Head Steering and order a rebuilt box from them, they take the slack out of the boxes not just replace the seals

I also need the arm that goes from the box to axle.
And I'm on a tiny budget, maybe 1000$ for everything left to do but tires and wheels.

Well I went with the super duty boxsince we couldn't even find the part I (really) needed at the store. It looks like the super duty box will just bolt on directly actually, just gotta make a cross link and figure out how the eff were gonna run the PS lines to work with this box...
And how do you remove the old steering unit?
