sorry if it seems i am getting excessive with the threads, i just got the 92 out for the warmer days and have noticed some things. so here goes this one. if there any disadvantages to getting a leveling kit on a 2wd. i know it would sit more un-level but is there anything else i was thinking this one Ford Leveling Suspension Lift Kit thanks guys
no, it has a nose down stance. which i am fairly sure is because of it being 2wd as my 94 4wd sits higher
So you want to raise the front (only) for what reason??? If you have money burning a hole in your pocket just send it to me instead and I'll save you a lot of work along with preventing you from making your truck look dorky.
I hate to say this, but you really aren't going to gain any ground clearance unless you get bigger diameter tires and/or rims. Your I-beams will still only be so far off the ground and any suspension kit will not change this.

What he said.
It'll look good leveled off. You can throw some larger tires on to gain the ground clearance. Its your truck. Make it like you want it
will it move the front bumper higher, i also have a tire rub issue and i believe straightening out the bumper will fix it but i would like a little more room just to be safe
I don't think that you would have any trouble with a leveling kit and the 2wd. Now since it is a 2wd it is already sitting low so its only going to raise it do much and your only going to be able to fit so much bigger tires. Personally I hate the look of 2wd trucks, just way too low for my liking. I prefer a more leveled look, maybe a slight rake.
And yes like Yaga said the only way to gain actual "ground clearance" is to get bigger tires. Lifting the suspension will only allow room for those bigger tires and not gain any actual ground clearance.
so a leveling kit will give me more room in between the bumper and the tire and also the fenderwell and the tire, cant even get you foot in between them now to dry off the hood after a wax and wash. HATE that
on a different note do you think i would need longer front shocks. or would it be good to keep them the stock length that way it would limit the front end from rising after a certain point?
Yes, you will need longer shocks because your springs will be longer. How much longer just depends on the kit or what springs (perhaps stock from a salvage yard) you use.
