If it were me, I would use OEM springs from a salvage yard and then look up what springs are required for the truck you pulled them off of. I will say that you could also get a set of springs from a 4WD F-150 and the ride will be a little bit better. F-250 springs generally have a higher load rating and that will affect your ride quality and articulation - just something to think about. Regarding your shocks, I personally really like Monroe Sensa-Tracs, but that's just me.

arn't there alignment and geometry issues with leveling kits? honest question. especially with these i beams. i thought they drag the camber way out?

Any bit of lift you add will require new alignment. That's the nature of the TTB.

Back to the OP, ask yourself if it really something you need. I have a lot of people ask mehow I like my lift. To be honest, I wish I didn't have it. If I didn't need basically everything for the suspension from a stock 4WD I would switch back.

I have Superlift 117 leveling coils on mine with stock size shocks. It works great. The truck sits about 1.5 or so inches higher. The area where the shock is is probably closer to an inch or so higher. A longer shock is not needed.

If you lift the truck more than 2 inches, you will need a lift kit. I wouldn't go any higher on a 2wd anyway.

You will need the adjustable camber bushings and an alignment.

Then a nice set of 31 10.50s and your set.

Even though TexasGuy was able to reuse his shocks, they will ultimately limit his suspension travel by an inch or so. If you never plan to go play on fire trails, fields, or very poor dirt or gravel roads, i.e. you plan to stay on paved roads, then you should be okay. Just things to think about.

I have 2" leveling spacers and my truck looks great. I'm happy with my decision, now I want bigger tires though.
