If you need a dipstick tube its not difficult to just build one out of the 3/8 steel fuel line. Just cut the flare off of the end, slide a ferrule compression ring onto the tube, the tube will actually slide down into the pan so don't let more than a couple inches into the pan, using the same nut/fitting that came with the fuel line and tighten it down enough to compress the ferrule onto the line then you can pull it out and bend it however you need to, just no more than you need to, to put the other end where you want it. Whatever you use for a dipstick, make it a few inches longer than the tube then when you change oil put in exactly what it needs and after running it and let it sit a while you will be able to mark the dipstick where full is. I put a little sealant on the threads of mine although I doubt I needed to but it make a good tight fit with no leaks.. I might have 10.00 dollars in the whole thing... You will need to attach the top end to the motor with a bracket of your choosing also though or it will wiggle to much and that cause problems too..

I think it is 3/8 pipe thread or it might be quarter but the fuel line will have the right size already on it, just need to buy the ferrule

It's definitly not 3/8 pipe thread. I will buy the fuel line and see what happens. Maybe I can just find a factory used one. Anybody how one? :-)

Well I know the actual size is 5/8" OD and 3/8 ID so I would guess the 3/8.. but it is thicker than most common pipe. You might find a used one at a wrecking yard but I couldn't in this area, that is why I made the one I have in there now. The ones I did find online were always 50 to 70 dollars and I couldn't see paying that much is all
