brake Caliper bolt grinding on new rims

I just got a new (to me) set of 15x8 grey spoke rims off of an 88 f150 and the dang bolt on the caliper is rubbing pretty bad, I guess I could grind the bolt head down but I kinda hate to do that....the 88 front end doesn't look any different than my 78 minus the calipers....what are some other options besides grinding the bolt down to get it to stop grinding? I wonder if it's possible' to put 88 model calipers on the 78?

Sounds like the rims may have the wrong offset spacing . You can buy spacers for some apps .Worth a look . I have a set off an 85 ( if I remember correctly ) on my 78 , with no issues .

Spacers, that's about it. I wouldn't really mess with the bolt.

If you're dying to run 15's you might have better luck with a steel 15". They are usually thinner
