Mark the day on your calendars guys. It's the first Man Town get-together scheduled for 2013!

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post13031544

Breakfast Saturday morning will be at Flames restaurant, then back to Andy's for a day of mods, maintenance, BS, great BBQ, good people, and whatever beverage you bring!

Here's the address for Andy's house. Don't use GPS if it's your first time there. GPS will not take you to the house.

618A Kalana Ave
Morgan Hill 95037

The house is on the corner of Kalana and Manfre.

If you want to meet at Flames, be at the coffee shop at 8:00am.

Flames is located on the corner of Bernal and Santa Teresa. Bernal is an exit from 101 in S. San Jose.

Stewart

PS - Don't forget to bring your firetruck, Reno!

Ford Truck get-together?

Hmm . . . Morgan Hill is just down the road from me, about a tank of gas away. I might have to see if I can put this in my agenda. Would be nice to see what I can learn about my truck.

C'mon down, Ray. We've had guys that come from as far away as Alamo, Vacaville, Sac, Oregon, SoCal and Arizona (RIP, Robin).

Andy has a buddy that BBQ's meat with a smoker and he does a fantastic job.

Sounds like it will be a great time. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it as I have to get the truck registered this month, and it needs a smog check this year. And since it is currently running crappy, it will not pass smog.

Well, we usually have 2 or 3 a year, so maybe the next one will fit better for you.

Come on down/up guys. It's a fun and relaxing day wrenching and sitting in the shade of the giant oak tree. We're kicking around some ideas for the BBQ.

Here's some pics from past events. No shortage of Ford trucks!

Well, wouldn't you know . . . I will still be doing a HAM radio class that Saturday. Maybe the next work & play day, then.

I'll keep an eye out for the next one,

Maybe you could get some help from the guys to get your bronco running right to pass smog? All you'd need is a one or two day pass from the DMV to be able to legally drive it out there.

I would love to, but based on the distance from my house it would run me about $80 in gas, and I just can't afford that right now. I only get $132 every two weeks.
