Tire/shock combo?
I'll be replacing the tires and shocks on my 95 F150 4x4 extracab this summer and am looking to beef up the ride a bit, and put on some bigger profile tires, without doing a lift (need to fit in the garage).
My driving is a combination of light off road (hunting/fishing trails)and local driving. Any thoughts on good combinations would be appreciated.

A set of 33x12.50's will fit but you may end up w/ a little bit of rubbing, nothing too serious though. You might consider a set of 285 75 16's (if you have 16" rims"). They are basically a 33x10.50 and should fit w/o rubbing. I think BFG sells a 33x10.50-15 if you have the 15" wheels. The all-terrains should fit your needs well and I've heard nothing but good about them.

33's are too big. You're better off with a 32/11.5/15 which will fit on the stock rims. RS5000s by Rancho are a good stiff shock if that's what you want. You can also spend more and get the RS9000 adjustable shocks.
