Good evening Rick and all who venture down this way. It got to 51 today with some drizzling. It is barely raining right now. I had the day off so made supper for my daughter and her crew and another couple. I fixed Sunday Gravy..
ok i suppose... cut the old terminal off the positive cable in the stang... will get a pic of it when its light again... crimped the new fittings on.. then filled it with silver solder to keep the water out hopefully... but havent gotten the new clamp on yet...
sure hope so... technically i could do it with just the clamp and pinching the wires between it and the plate... but i wanted to go a different way using the eyelets and trapping them under the bolts.. mainly cuz where the wires go in on mine has 2 cables that come in and run off in 2 different directions...figured id simplify it (ntm make crimping easier) by splitting them up onto their own individual eyelet..
sure hope so... i got the copper eyelets crimped on... filled the voids with silver solder in hopes to keep the water out and corroding the ends inside...
now i just gotta knock the enamel off where the eyelets will sit so that ill have something to get conduction to lol.. the only place they didnt coat was where the wire shoulda gone lol...dont think they were expecting what im trying to do... lol...once i do that ill just have to put the clamp on... mount the battery and then put the clamps on the battey...
