The only reason I have the truck is to pull my horse trailer which is usually done with horses in it. I like the Tow/Haul mode as it helps smooth out deceleration/braking which makes it easier on my horses. That's worth the difference in mpg to me (if there is any) as the whole point is to get them where I'm going in good shape to do what I want. Otherwise I wouldn't even own the truck...
