I was too busy playing with the go pro and actually didn't take one picture. I'm hoping I can pull some shots off the footage that I got. Of course I need to pic up some editing software too. So it might just be a bit before I get any off of that.

Here is a video. First run up Test hill. You can see a ledge up by the top, it caught me off guard on the first run. There were a bunch of people accidentally launching, and of course the carnage aftermath

My friend and I were just talking about yesterday!!! I'm excited to try this out sometime. How beefed up of a truck do you need for something like that? I've got a 2000 5.4L F-150 Lariat extended cab.

You can go out there stock, many do. In fact there was a stock explorer sport that got some air climbing the hill. It was everywhere out there.

What about tires? I've got highway tires at the moment. Looking to get some mud terrains or all terrains here soon but money is hard to come by lmao.

You will do just fine out there. Tire pressure is the key, the lower the better. Really a less aggressive tire works better in the sand.

Why is a less aggressive tire better? I've never gone on sand so I have no idea but really that looks FUN AS ****! Lmao!

The sand is extremely loose. Lower air pressure makes a bigger foot print out of the tire. Street tires will do fine. Had a newbie up with us today, 98 tj, bone stock tires and all. He went everywhere.

Sand is so loose the mud terrains dig down faster then you go forward, especially with a heavy full-size truck

This sounds awesome! I am really looking forward to doing this now! First words out of my wife's mouth was "isn't it easier to roll in sand?" Made me laugh because I know yeah that is true but you can't learn how sand is unless you drive on it!

Good Morning All,

thanks for the heads up Gerry.

Little sister is up walking around, she can carry a three word sentance, 1 one word answers. Although as soon as she gets tired you can see the effects, ( which is quick) SHe should be moved to another hospital for PT today. Just hope it doesnt happen before noon, I am, going to run up ans see her at lunch.

Ran the BB gun range on Saturday at the D-A, what the hell happened to 55*? It was cold all day, at least I was cold. Ended up with two jackets and a coat on..brr. Just felt wet.

Sunday was the NRA Instructor traning for pistol, felt like the exact same thing as the rifle and shotgun class, and since that is the NRA attmept.. good job to the NRA.

Thinking about doing the CPL insturctor class, just not sure if I want to layout that kind of money right now.

Anyhow, Good Morning ALL, back to the groove!!
