Snowed here. Bought a beater on the weekend for the wife to drive to work. Figured out out the next day that it smokes on startup. Still, a pretty nice little car, 2002 mazda protege5 Wagon. Drives nicer than it has any right to for what I paid.

Might have to look into that smoke though, it's a bit much. I'll try the trick of thicker oil and see what's what. After that, may be actual mechanical repairs . . .

Yeah private deal. I'm not too worried, I fully expected to find some issues for what I paid, just surprised one surfaced so quickly. There's a certain freedom in having a car that's worth less than one paycheque and already has body damage. you sure don't need to worry about touchless carwashes or any of that nonsense, lol.

 

That's right, you done worry about scratching it, lol............the smoke will keep the flies away
