Starter Relay

Trying to figure out where to mount the Starter Relay. Right now I have it mounted on right side fire wall where the horn relay/ballast resistor went.

Where has everyone installed their relays?

Ideally, you'd want it in the vicinity of the battery and starter so your cable runs don't have to be any longer than necessary. Having it mounted level would be a plus, too, to look nice.

Another question

Looks like I will need to have a custom cables made up to go between the Battery and Starter solenoid, and from solenoid to the starter. What size cables should they be?
