Tire size and rear end ratio

Hi Guys, I was at the local dealership today finalizing my F350 specs and they had a F350 (SRW) on the lot with 3.55 rear end and 18" tires. The sales rep said they hadn't changed tires. This seems to be different than 2011 & 2012 where 3.55 meant 20" tires and 3.31 meant 18" tires. Can anyone confirm that this is different for 2013?

My 2012 250 has that combination from the factory (built that way).

My 2012 has 18" and 3.55, relatively common setup. If I remember correctly from the order process you choose your axle then get to wheels later. The 17" might get locked out but I'm not 100%.

I believe you can't get 20" wheels with the camper package, hence the 18" wheels.

You can't get 20" wheels with the 3.31.

Any other combo is good though.

Thanks guys! I guess the part that I was missing was that any combination other than 20" on 3.31 is available.

I love the look of the 20" wheels on these trucks!
