i have never had any experience with a super charger which is what i take u are talking about when you say sc i think some interest could be generated if they are durable i think more and more people will be moving toward gas trucks and away from expensive and high maintinance diesels and will be looking for more power would they be something for work and play or just strictly play my performance knowledge is strictly old school carbs cams n heads but i would like to build a 5.4 for a stock pulling truck someday.by the way my son is wanting a tuner for his 5.4 saving his $$ for one now he b calling u b4 long.

A SC would be a nice option to add to the toy hauler once the factory warranty runs out...but like rkm said above me, it would need to be as durable as a SD is.

Good points for sure, Reason i was asking is Roush Parts called me Friday and we were talking about some of their kits and they mentioned their 6.2L kit is coming out for the Raptor in a few months and it got me thinking about a SD version. Roush has always had quality built kits that make good safe power at low boost levels. Anyways just thought i would get some 6.2L SD owner feedback.

I Love the Idea

Roush makes very good and durable items and it would be great. Convince them to do it!

I think it's an awesome idea! We put turbos on diesels, and they hold up, so why can't we make a boosted gas engine that will do the same....could be the end of over-complicated diesel pick-ups?

Heck yes a add 100 horse power would be great. If they need a model, my truck is available. And close in mi.

I think it's a great idea, but I'm a sucker for hp. Luckily I fly back home (AZ) a couple times a year for dune trips. My dads car (below) has about 700hp so I get my fix from that, but honestly, having a daily driver juiced up would give me BSEG (sorry, V10 reference). I honestly wish I could fast forward 4 years for my factory warranty to run out so I can put this thing on steroids...

Cool! Lets do it. It will shut up all those Ecoboost guys that think their engine is better than the old school tech

Good feedback, I can see it now rolling through a camp ground in your 6.2L with a slight whistle coming from under the hood and all the diesel owners staring at you with that puzzled look

The more I think about putting a supercharger on the 6.2L, the more excited I get! Talk the boys at Roush into it already

I worked roush back in 2008 doing prototype work for ford. I was talking to one of there engineers who said they put a gt500 blower on a stock 3v v10 and it made 700hp. Im sure the 6.2 would like it just as much A lot of roush products won't Void the warranty if installed by an authorized dealer. It would make my desion on what truck to buy a lot easer.

I would drop $3-5k in a heartbeat if my dealer said, "Yeah no problem, bring it in and we'll drop one on there".
