2010 6.0 e-series...replaced camshaft, lifters and front cover, now cam-crank sync is no most of the time but ficm sync is ok? cam timing is ok, crank sensor wheel is ok. replaced both sensors, wire harness and tried known good pcm and ficm......anybody got any ideas? HELP
Then you may have a rare PCM failure. PCM's rarely fail it is useually the FICM's that have a high faliure rate. Also may be wireing between FICM and PCM.

So you do sometimes show a good cam/crank sync? Do you always have a clean scope signal? If it comes and goes try cleaning the mounting surface for the sensors, just a little dirt or rust can give a bad or no signal. I've heard of loose tone rings but have never seen one myself.
