Attaining master code for keyless entry
Can anyone tell me how to obtain the master code for my keyless entry feature on my 01 supercrew?I purchased the truck used from a non Ford dealer w/o the code.The local ford dealer wants $92 to tell me!The owners manual states that it is taped to the "computer modual"Does anyone know where this modual is located??I have a Hayes manual for the truck, but it does not cover a "computer modual" or the keyless entry system at all. I also called ford in Dearborn and they said they do not keep that info on file due to hackers.Can any one help me save $92???!!

Hi poorboy92j and welcome to FTE 
The Central Security Module is located behind the left side of the dash panel, approximately in between the park brake pedal and the brake pedal.
It should be a squarish box about 4" by an inch thick I think.
The manual shows 2 connectors on it.

Total = 90 min and at $60/hr, there is your $90.
The two extra dollars is for the coffee the mechanic drinks while working on your truck.
