Can anyone tell me how to obtain the master code for my keyless entry feature on my 01 supercrew?I purchased the truck used from a non Ford dealer w/o the code. The local ford dealer wants $92 to tell me!The owners manual states that it is taped to the "computer modual"Does anyone know where this modual is located??I have a Hayes manual for the truck, but it does not cover a "computer modual" or the keyless entry system at all. I also called ford in Dearborn and they said they do not keep that info on file due to hackers. Can any one help me save $92???!!
The Central Security Module is located behind the left side of the dash panel, approximately in between the park brake pedal and the brake pedal.
It should be a squarish box about 4" by an inch thick I think.
The manual shows 2 connectors on it.
Thank you for your information! It was right where you said and only took a few seconds to find. The code was right there on it.Once again thank you for your help! Poorboy92j
