2013 F350 6.7l tailgate camera

I am still checking before ordering a new truck and am wondering if anyone ran into having to do a quick disconnect or relocate of the rearview camera located in the tailgate. For me to load my slide-in camper, the tailgate has to come off. Well with the camera there the tailgate can't come off. I asked the dealer about a quick disconnect being put in but Ford is not sure if "DTC's" would show up.
So has anyone had this to deal with? Thanks.

I didn't realize he had posted the exact same thing in two different forums.

Edited to remove post.

I removed my tailgate and installed a 5th wheel tailgate and at the same time I bought a factory wiring connect to a tailgate camera . I then bought a aftermarket camera and installed it above the license plate. If I go back to the stock tailgate I will just unplug the license plate camera and the stock one will work as usual.
