Need help..vents all screwed up.
In between jobs + cold weather + busted heater core = cheap price and it shows!
Tried to wait the winter out, but I had to get some heat flowing. Anyway im plauged with problems that weren't there previously. I have already taken the car back once and I'm done with them for life. But here is my situation...the vents up front barely blow even with the fan on full. The car does get hot and the vents in the back appear to blow normal. My second symptom is the vent on the driver side dash...warm air just blows constantly even when everything is off. It's starting to warm up and I literally have to crack the window due to the heat it's putting out. Not a lot of air, but hot. I was thinking that maybe my controls were messed up, but I went and pressed all the buttons and the changes showed after every button. Any idea where to start?

Is this on your Navigator ?Sounds like they butcherd the job .Maybe they screwed up the box . Sounds like a diagnostics needs to be done , with proper tools and info . Sorry to say , the dash may need to come out to fix their screw up . I ain't seen it , but what you describe , It don't sound right .

Unless you have time to research , find the problem , take it apart and fix it . You may be better finding a good shop with the proper knowledge to fix it . I hate what has happened to you and your truck , but I have seen It before . You may be able to fix it yourself , but if you took it in for the core replace , I expect you are not comfortable working on this problem . I would suggest looking for a good shop in your area to at least diagnose your problem . Money spent on proper diagnostics is not wasted ! It can save you much in the long run . If you find the issue , you might be able to fix it easy . Good luck !
