Vacuum Leak Diagnosis

Vacuum Leak Diagnosis
I undoubtedly have a vacuum leak. I only have defrost; no other settings. And the pump runs constantly.
So I pulled the line that goes from the pump to the 'can' (reservoir) and sealed the end of the hose - pump cut off. So i know that hose and the pump itself is good.
I put the hose back on, but twisted slightly so the other 'T' connector did not connect, leaving that nipple exposed. I then sealed that nipple - the pump continues to run. When I release it, I get a small 'whoosh' of pressure release, but that's it. Based on this, I think it's the 'can' itself that has a leak and not a hose.
Thoughts? Opinions?
What can I expect to pay for the 'can'.
