new starter, selonoid, cables, battery still turns when the key is in the off position, also been replacing lots of starters and selonoids. HELP!!!!

 

we had a car that did that, turned out to be the switch under the steering column that overheated and fused a couple contacts.

 

If solenoid and starter are new , ck for start relay in power box . It could be sticking . Also ck igniton switch as stated above . If not ck for shorted wires . Good luck !

 

I had a similar issue... after a starter a relay and a ignition switch I tore the dash apart and started chasing wires. Wound up being the wire that plugs into the key tumbler to make it ding when the key is in was grounded against the column... hope you get it fixed I know mine drovee insane for a week.
