Have owned 86 f250 for a while, now also own 96 Audi a4

I love my old truck and I am almost ready to restore the old girl, but I am trying to decide if I am going if I want to restore the old girl or keep her around as my beater? ... Because I am looking at buying a 1989 f350 7.3 idi na crew cab 2 wheel drive with i believe is the e4od in it. that supposedly other than glow plugs all it needs is one tire... But if I buy the truck I want to do a Dana 60 swap and find a e4od 4x4 transmission for it, but also wanting to drop a fully rebuilt and powered up 6.9 in it... And so everyone know the info on my audi it's. a 1996 Audi a4 quattro with just under 105,000 on it needs a few minor things though

For the amount of work it is converting to 4x4, you might as well just wait and get a 4x4 truck.

I understand it is a royal pain to comvert a 250 or above to 4x4 but I have been looking for around 4 years now for a 250-350 crew cab 4x4 srw and in my area that is pretty much impossible unless you want a newer truck... Which I really can't afford and they are a pain in the butt to work on

That looks pretty good actually. I went to college half an hour south of there in Potsdam.

I'll second that its a pain to go 2wd to 4x4...

Ok. Looked at this truck again hoping tomorrow I can get an even closer look at it from what I am told glow plugs are bad but I know for a fact the truck has not been used driven or started for probably around a year but like stated from what I am told glow plugs are bad, other than that it has 1 bad tire (it's definitely flat) and the body could use some TLC but doesn't look like it has much rust to it (cab wise anyway) I am trying to figure out if it is an e4od or if that was an option at that time... Guess I will figure that out when I look at it probably snap a few pics and post them on here...
