95 f150 lift

What is the best brand of lift kit to lift my 95 regular cab short bed. I'm going for suspension lift. Also what size would look the best.

Heard some good things about Rough Country lift kits and they are pretty reasonably priced...I will be looking into a lift for my 1994 F-150 single cab short bed and i will most likely get a 4 inch with my 33s. I currently have a 2 inch leveling kit in the front but want more lift in it. Its really up too you how big you want too go i prefer 4 inch with 33s so you dont have to regear and possibly get extended driveshafts. But either way its a Ford so obviously it will look good!

Ok. So with the leveling kit you can fit 33s. It's funny my buddy had to do 2" rear blocks and new torsion bar keys on his 02 Sierra to fit 33s. I'm probably gonna go with either a 4" or 6" lift. Maybe 4" with some body. Y'all think that'd look ok?

I don't tend to like the look of body lifts. It looks goofy unless you put time into adjusting the bumpers. However I was thinking of putting a 4" lift plus 3" body lift on my 95 to accommodate 38's. The reason being that I haul and having less space between the axles and frame will create less body roll. Therefore being better for towing. As far a lift Rough Country makes the best bang for the buck I'm guessing. If you have the money, its worth the extra dough to buy new leaf springs rather than blocks for the rear. It'l give you better flex off road and soak up the terrain better, as well as leave less axle wrap. 4" lift will fit 35's about perfectly, 6" will fit 37's. Stock with a leveling kit and you could probly fit 33s.

I have a 3" body lift on my beater s-10. It looks alright. I won't have the money for the lift until the summer because I lost the 1st and 2nd gear clutchpacks. I'm gonna have the trans rebuilt and put in a shift kit and torque converter in prep for the lift. So I've been asking around at what lift would be good for the truck. It's got a roll bar that I'm putting kcs on. I want this thing to look as good as possible

In my opinion, which I know is not yours, an S-10 looks best with a msaller lift and smaller tires. MAYBE 35s. But its whatever you like that counts.....You have to remember, it is a chevy. It'l be hard to get it as good looking as any Ford lol

Yeah but it came with the 3" body lift and 31s for $500. So I wasn't complaining it was my first truck. now I got the 95 f150 for $500 but need a trans rebuild but it's a ford so it's worth it and $2500 aint real bad.

OP, what are you planning to do with this truck? The TTB front end isn't going to like tires bigger than 33". And a 4-6" lift with 33" tires is going to look terrible. You'd be better off getting a leveling kit and throwing some 33" tires on. You also don't say what motor or gears are in your truck. If you have a 302 you're going to need gears like 3.73 or 4.11. If you have a 300 or 351w you can get away with 3.55 but will probably want to switch to 3.73.

If you ask me, a leveling kit and 33" tires look good. More tire and less lift looks good and doesn't make the truck too tippy on the road. You will probably need to trim/shim the bumper to get them to fit though.
