6.4 PATS SYSTEM FAIL.

I have a 2008 f350 that I recalibrated the pcm in with the Ford IDS software and now the truck won't start or crank. I get two codes a P1260 theift demoblize and B1230 since last cleared less than two keys stored.

I have tryed reprograming the keys and even bought two more keys.
under datta loger it says 0 keys stored. I have bought a transvier thinking it wasn't reading the keys but that didn't work either. I have been told that it probly is my Insturment cluster. but I don't want to pay that much.
Is there a way to shut off pats?
I have a Spartan tunner and have asked them if they have a tune to delete it and they say no they don't make a tune for that.

I've checked all fuses. Unhooked bat for day or two. Jumped wire up at the batt for the starter with key on and no go.

any help would be VERY much apreciated

a bad flash using ids, one not done correctly can blank the tcm causing the theft light to blink.
does the truck pass the tcm on the network test?
does the trans range indacator light up when you turn the key on?

I have seen bad Flash before , not good some times ! I took one to a buddy at gm , They let the smoke out! Another BCM , their dime . The last Dodge I had done was a nightmare for the security system reflash . Turns out , they were not using the proper program for Police package , or so they said !

My manual says something about needing to 'reset the parameters' in the PATS using IDS. Supposedly both keys need to be used.

I think you have to have both sets there when doing the programing.

did you reload the stock programming that you had saved because of the spartan tune?

A glitch in data transfer can cause issues . Some makes require a battery tender to be installed while doing a flash . Low voltage can cause issues such as data transfer problems. Have you tried to program with the tuner removed ? Maybe the issue is the tuner . I did not think you could flash with one installed . I may be wrong though . Just a thought .

Tow truck not a option when it is already sitting in my shop.
And its not the PCM. The two code I have are for the Instrument Cluster.
