My stand alone computer and wrieing cost me 600 bucks. The stock E4od is a good trans, the trick to not brun them out is to keep the cool. If you tow at all put in a temp gauge and change the fuild every 40,000.

Autozone lists a computer for a 92 F350 with the IDI. I wonder if that would work, it's $175

That's what I wanted to know. If I'm going to have about the same investment moneywise, then I may just go with the GV/C6 setup. I rarely ever tow anything with this truck now, but I would love to be able to bump up my fuel mileage some and decrease the rpm's. Thanks for the recommendations guys!!
