Looks pretty solid to me even for a CA truck. I have a call in to the seller, we'll see how it goes. As for the "4 wheel drive", I am sure that that was just a box that was checked by mistake by the seller.
Drive-able but has no engine. Interesting. But does look like a good body from the two pictures.
Reminds me of a time I lived in the southern U.S. I am a Yankee but found myself hunting vehicles in NC. I responded to an ad where someone stated "runs great". When I got there it did "run" as in the motor ran great but there was no rearend in the car. I mentioned to the owner that the ad said "runs great". His response, "it does run, just can't drive it". I'll never forget that.
why are those "deals" always 2,500 mi away from my place. it would cost me $2,000 to get it back to ny. but the way i've been throwing money at my 54 it STILL could be a deal!

This comment was in reference to the dent in the right front fender...dented but still able to be driven. I noticed that he didn't show any of the right side of the truck in the two photos in the ad.

And no pic of the front. In the one pic there is a tarp or something on the front so ya can't see anything.
Just got in touch with the owner and I bought the truck...picking it up Tuesday. The truck belonged to his Dad who bought it new. One owner California truck. He said his Dad put the "big tires" on it but he still has all the original rims/tires that go with the truck. I'll post some pics when I get it home. Thanks Cristian75 for the heads up!
BTW - I have a fresh 302/C4 combo out of a 69 Mustang that will be going into this truck. Might make a good fly-in/drive-home truck for one of you guys in the rust belt.
