OK....here is what I am going to attempt to do myself. I need to change the fuel filter in my 1994 F-250 4x4 with a 460 and am curius what kind of problems am I going to have? I bought the quick release tools but am a bit unsure how to use it.

ANY and ALL comments and advise would greatly appreciated.

ALSO any comments on replacement shocks? What do you guys prefer

Your fuel filter is located on the drivers side front frame rail, your release tool should be placed over the line and pushed towards the filter and then pushed in so it will let the "fingers" inside the fitting loose, then just gently pull off the line.

 

I have found that you need to push the fuel line ONTO the filter while inserting the tool. Do not try to pull the fuel line off until the tool is fully inserted into the fitting. Also the tool I have is made for two different diameters, while both will insert into the fitting, only one will release it.
