Howdy folks. Tomorrow is the big reveil on the art work in Gautier. That thing sure turned out nice. Look it up on-line.

Wow. That's some work. The copper is beautiful. When it goes green in the salty breezes it should be completely natural. Check the videos at the bottom of the page.

Don't know. I bought it new. According to many parts suppliers & "experts", an 87-22RE fulie does not exist. Of course there were plenty who said it couldn't be a SR-5 either since it is an automatic. But besides the graphics, it says so plainly on the bill of sale & title.

I'd have the crank journals checked for trueness and make sure that particular main bore was in centerline
with the others.

Yes, I believe I'm going to have to load it up & drag it over to a machine shop (massey's has been recommended) & pay to have all measurements checked & tanked before ordering machine work & a parts kit. Was hoping what little I can safely check as well as see in the form of wear would indicate that I could get away with just rings & bearings.

I'd be more than happy to let you take a gander at it, if you feel like it, and listen to your opinion.

Massey's has done all of the machine work I've needed on motors and heads. they're very reasonable on price and usually have a decent turn around. if I can catch a break from work next week I'll be glad to swing by on my way home one evening.

Jackie Thompson (Hour of the 50's) is having a 75th Birthday Party today. I am invited so maybe I can take and share some pictures.

He is still the host of his weekly broadcast; http://www.wlezfm.com/index.php/site/Rockin/

Welcome DBone! Well guys, the Mississippi Street Rod Association Dixie Rod Run is finishing up Sunday at Trustmark Park. It is supposed to be a pretty day for a change. Is anyone planning to go? David and I went last year and there were some really nice rides. I am going to try to go about lunch time.
