I might end up doing the under dash AC like I had in my 66 Mustang.
I am a glutton for punishment and a sucker for a black paint job.

Either way, I have no plans for AC in the current budget.

Greg, got an idea.... install a slider back widow and then put a swamp cooler in the bed and an 110 V inverted to run it !!! Red Neck Special LOL...LMAO !!!

 

in order to change out the back window I would have to figure out how they mounted the toolbox on top of the tank.
I think they welded it on, but have not looked at it close to find out.

Well I picked up a new fuel gauge yesterday and I am wondering if I will be able to hook it up today.
Not sure if my gut can handle it yet but I plan to try anyway.
I won't push it if it complains too much.

Speaking from experience ... (open heart surgery) I would give it about 30 days before you try any ... acrobatic moves !!! I had to wait 90 days before I could lift more than 5 - 10 lbs !!! we tend to forget how much we use our core muscles stomach included Just a thought

 

I was planning to just run some test leads to see if the sending unit was actually working or not.
I can do this without climbing around on the floor.
Not having the original tank makes me believe the Ohm value of the sending unit is what is causing it to not work the factory gauge.

 

Black is my favorite color, and I would love to own all black vehicles, however, since Fresno is in a valley, and it gets over 100 degrees every summer here, I would need a working AC in one if I were to buy it. Heck, I will soon be 55 (next month) and I flat out refuse to buy a vehicle that does not have a working AC in it these days. Thankfully the Bronco's AC works great!

this is similar to what I had in the Mustang, but mine was a dealer bolt on option.
Under dash AC

okie dokie, no one can find me the correct radiator. They all show the same part at prices from $169-400+
So now I am looking for a shop to rebuilt this one, unless I can find one in the Pick-a-part.

 

Well I found a place that can rebuilt it called Motor Mission machine and radiator shop.
I have to remove it and take it to them to get an estimate.
Unless someone has one laying around I can get

I ran the test leads for the fuel gauge and it seems to be working.
Just waiting on a friend to come give me a hand with the proper install.
