Russ, do those 2 1/2" shackles raise the truck 2 1/2" or just 1 1/4"? Any increase would be divided in 2 because the axle is half way down the spring. As an example if I got 2" lift shackles would they be 2" longer than stock or 4" longer and would they lift the truck 1" or 2" ?

yes these shackles are advertised as 2 1/2" lift and thats exactly what they gave me for height. they make smaller ones also.
So are they more than 2.5" longer than the stock ones?
no clue i never measured them, i just picked the one that gave me the most advertised lift(and they did with my own measurements). they look like they are just double the length of the stock ones.
hey guys, i just put in 2" front and rear add a leafs in my ex. i was wondering if 2 1/2" shackles would give me another 2 1/2" on top of what i already have to give me about 4 1/2" of total lift?? im aiming for 4-5" of total lift for my ex. thanks for replies in advance

I have a 2005 with CV shafts and am considering a small shackle lift in the front (2" longer than stock shackle will provide 1" of lift) to elimiate the rake when I add RAS to the rear springs.
My 2005 has about 130k miles. After tightening the steering box, replacing the front sway bar bushing and installing Bilstein shocks all around, I'm VERY HAPPY with how the truck rides on the stock springs. Tires are stock size Toyo Open Country H/T's LR E. Infact, my X recently pulled a small pop-up loaded with gear and bikes on the 100 mile White Rim Trail in Canyon Lands NP. No problems; the soft ride is excellent and I'm trying to avoid a spring swap for the time being.
I'll be towing a toy hauler soon. It weighs about 6500# dry. Weight distributing hitch with sway control will be in use. I think the RAS will provide the little extra support I need. But the RAS will give me about 1" of lift when unloaded. Don't want the rake, so a simple shackle lift in the front could take care of it, just don't want any negative side affects.
