Got the master cylinder on my F100 replaced and now the brake lights stay on, why?

gstirewalt: What year is your truck? 1967 F100/350's use a different brake light switch than 1968/72 F100/350's.

The way the switch is mounted to the pedal is either 1967 or 1968/72. Post 11 refers to 1968/72, not 1967.

When the OP typed this thread on 2/26/2013, he had a 1972 F100 which he now has sold, replaced by the white fridge in his avatar pic.
