Low to no cost lower
#16
I'll take photos tonight. I used the stock shocks on the back. I did have to get new shocks for the front. The old ones were shot and too big after the lowering. I ordered shocks for a 1975 Ford Pinto (rear). I'll let you know if they work out or not. I did not move the shock mounts on the front (yet).

Guys-New to the forum, just purchased a '60 style side and will be shipping from OK to NY. planning a "rat rod" rest. Ford : F-100 Styleside in Ford | eBay Motors It's got a numbers matching 292. i'd like to "flip the axles" as described here will I need any special mounting hardware? Well, Tom, welcome to FTE and congrats on the new truck. I was checking that out on Ebay the other nite. Nice big back window! Looks like it will keep you busy for awhile. I personally enjoy staying close to stock so I will not offer any help with "mods"! I think all the layers of paint that it has, has helped preserve it for you. Originally Blue and white? Enjoy your great new project.
I am in central NY, wherabouts is the truck shipping to?

Spurredon, I live on Long Island but work in Albany Mon-Thurs, whereabouts are you? I'm planning on shipping it to LI but then I'm thinking I might get the work done cheaper up here. Except I don't have any contacts up here (mechanic, auto-body, etc.) Appreciate any tips/leads/contacts you can give. Thanks, Tom
