I notice my Fuel gauge wanders all over the place when i drive-Sometimes i get a steady reading-most times its pegged FULL!

What i also notice is--WHEN THE GAUGE IS PEGGED FULL while driving around--But when i shut down the truck and restart it the guage reads perfect? Any ideas? Thanks MARK

Sounds like you are getting intermittent readings to your guage from the sending unit. The Slosh sensor keeps the needle from jumping around as the gas sloshes around while the truck is running. It will only allow the fuel needle to move slowly (like when you fill her up with the engine running, takes about 5 mins to read full). Anyway, Here is the wiring diagram: Hope this helps
