Hopefully next weekend a buddy and I will be doing a level/lift on my 06. I have an Autospring 2.5" front kit, a Pro-Comp rear block kit to net 2" of lift in the rear, new Bilstein 5100's to go around, and a Ready Lift track bar bracket.
How bad can I expect to affect the caster (castor?)? Will my local off road shop be the only ones who know what I'm talking about when I ask them for an alignment? They were the only ones who would touch my 92 K1500 after we did a 6" suspension kit on it.
Is there anything I should buy ahead of time for them? I'm new to solid axle lifts, been doing IFS stuff for a while.
Is the track bar bracket needed? Considering not doing it. I've found that the axle will only shift 5/16" to the side, and that a track bar drop isn't recommended without a pitman arm drop.
