junkyard trucks

Hi everyone,
Later on this week I am going to bid on what is basically a junkyard clean up job. I got the address and drove over to check it out. Don't have permission to go on the property yet but from the one side I could access I saw these and got excited so I took some pics. My best guess is they are early 40's 1/2 tons and I think the white one might be a 1 ton.
I am fairly confident that we will get the job and I am excited to see what other treasures are hidden in there. Most of the metal there will go straight to the scrap yard but I want to try to set aside the things that are worth saving and find them new homes.
I know this is all a little preemptive as we have not gotten the job yet, and I have no idea what the title situation is, and I have only a few low quality pics, and almost no idea how complete they are.. But do you guys think I could market these and sell them expediently? I do not have the ability to store more than 2 or 3 vehicles so i need everything gone by the time the job is finished. Which is going to be especially difficult considering there are 100+ additional assorted front clips, doors, trunks, bumpers neatly stacked up needing to be sorted and sold lol.
Sorry to be long-winded; I am just excited about these trucks and the job itself. Give me some input on what you can see in the pics. I was thinking about trying to keep the White one, it looks really complete.

I hope you get the job and are able to save some of these old trucks. It might be tough to get rid of everything as quickly as you would like but it looks like there is some stuff worth hanging onto. Good luck and keep us posted.

junkyard trucks

The white one is not a 1/2 ton. 3/4 or 1 ton and from what I can see of the hood and grill trim its a '41 not a '40. Wish it was closer to SoCal - I would
be interested in at least the bed or possibly the whole truck depending on condition. Good luck with the job.

So I went back to the property today and I am only going to be working on a small portion of the yard at a time. Starting tomorrow loading up things and taking them to the scrap yard. Here are a few I took today.

Check out my photobucket for the pics from just a small portion of the 1/4 of the property that we are starting on. Junkyard Photos by motocrossdude666 | Photobucket
If anyone sees anything that is obviously collectable please let me know as I would like to save as much from the junk pile as possible. but I am on a roughly one or two month timeline and need to separate out tings that can be sold readily. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Cool pics! If you find a good set of grill bars for a 46 Ford truck I'd buy them.
