Van turbo questions

Ok, I have a van turbo with an ATS compressor housing, it is going in my OBS along with the manifolds and bellowed up-pipes. My question is how big of an injector will this turbo support? and what is the max boost I should push through it?

Thanks,

P.S. I know that you guys have more knowledge on the van turbos, that is why i posted here instead of in the OBS forum.

Ian the van turbo is basically a obs turbo

The van turbo wheel has a 76.20mm inducer and a 69.84mm exducer (84 trim).

OBS truck
Turbine wheel inducer diameter: 76.2 mm
Turbine wheel exducer diameter: 69.84 mm (70 mm)

it is used to get rid of turbo flutter on the 99.5-2003 turbos. i cant remember if you have the obs style turbo wheel in the van turbo which is basically the whicked wheel, if you do then the ats really isnt doing anything for you, in fact you might actually be a couple psi lower in boost than you would be with the stock housing.

I can't speak from an OBS perspective, but I wanted to point out that a wicked wheel did not cure surge for me, but a van turbo with ported compressor housing is virtually impossible to surge. The larger exhaust housing on the van turbo will help manage egts on the top end and also aid in turbo life. I'll be curious to see what people say with regards to your question about injector sizes, but I will tell you that there are guys here pushing 450hp with a van turbo.
