I have 3 custom tunes (which is an option you get w/ 5 Star) that I can use at anytime. I have the 87 economy, 87 performance, and 93 performance (as well as the ability to store the stock tune).
I can't stray from the 93 tune because it's so good (more hp than the 87 tunes). I don't drive much so a tank of gas usually lasts me a week or two so I choose to use that tune to maximize the fun factor when I do drive. If you're anywhere near me, feel free to shoot me a PM and we can meet up, I'll let you take it for a spin.

Nope. I haven't flat out told them I'm tuned either (my sales guy knows but he's cool with it and would help me out as much as he can if I ran into trouble with service). I throw it back to stock before I head there, takes 5-10mins to flip flop the tunes.
You just have to assume the worst and be willing to pay, ya know? At least we're not talking about tuning a 6.7, where a tuned induced failure has the potential to cost you 10's of thousands!
