Boost fooler, Bad for the amount of fuel?

Okay guys, I am curious about the boost fooler. People always say it wont hurt anything but I think it will. I would like some well informed individuals opinions.

So the boost fooler tells the PCM/ECM whichever you want to call it that the max boost being produced is 22PSI. So say you have a TS 6 position chip/boost fooler/wastegate line off/a tightened wastegate rod and are running a TRUE 30psi. But your PCM online thinks that is getting 22psi so its ONLY fuels the engine for that that amount of Air...which would make it run lean. Does this seem correct to anyone? IS there something I am missing or don't know about?? Please any input is welcome. I am curious because I plan on doing these mods altogether for my truck and have seen them done on many others. But I was thinking about it last night and thats when this hit me. Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you
