video of truck dying while driving

I am posting a video of what my truck is doing while on the road. It sets a 1211 code when the cel comes on, but no code when the wts light comes on while driving. I am stumped although I am leaning toward a new ipr or hpop. I have checked for shorts and bad grounds, wiggled wires, checked icp sensor, replaced cps, checked connections at idm and pcm, even checked ignition switch. If you watch the video you will see that when the cel comes on, the power dies down and it goes into lope mode. When the wts light comes on, I just lay off the pedal and it goes away. I apologize for the quality, but it's the best I could do with my phone while driving.

The 1211 code is usually set when the HPOP cant keep up. And what is lope mode exactly (I couldn't hear too well in the video)? Does it sound like the truck is only running on one bank? Which could be UCVH related

This is probably unrelated, but your voltmeter looks a little bit low to me while you're running, there.

I agree. Not sure if it makes much of a difference, but when the CEL comes on the volt meter takes a dump. I have an old Harley that burns up stators and runs like crap when it can't put out enough electricity to keep up with all the needs. I wonder if it is something electrical...

From the manual :X7 KOER ON-DEMAND DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P1211
DTC P1211 indicates that injection control pressure was above or below commanded desired pressure during self test mode.
Possible causes:
incorrect oil or viscosity
poor oil quality
gel fuel/no fuel
low fuel pressure
damaged IPR valve
high-pressure oil system leak
damaged high-pressure oil pump
damaged PCM

Does the windshield leak?

Have you done a buzz test to see if there are any IDM codes ?..

Don't get me wrong, I really doubt that your low-ish voltage has anything to do with your stalling issue. It was really just an observation.

Thanks for the replies. Just got home from work and also took it to a mechanic who scanned it. The truck is getting hard codes for the icp, cps, tps and a few others. Mechanic thinks it is something electrical because the sensors have already been replaced. Buzz test came back good. He wants to start checking for shorts. He also said the pcm could have in internal short. No windshield leaks.
She's got almost 233, 000 miles on her.

BTW, the voltmeter goes to 0 because after the cel comes on, I threw it into neutral, turned the truck off, turned it on, and then threw it back into drive.

Yeah, I was talking about it being slightly low while the truck is running.

I don't think mine has ever been higher than where it is in the video. My alternator is only a year old also.

It could be the Glow plugs still cycling after he restarted the truck. I noticed in the end of the video the charge started to climb back to normal.

Yeah, I didn't know how long the glow plugs would be cycling after a restart, but with the temp gauge all the way down like that, I guess they may still come on for a while. That's probably what's causing that. Anyway, I'm done with my hijack, you can have your thread back now, lol.
