Question Help with my duraspark II setup...

Hey guys, I was gonna ask you guys if I was on the right track with my duraspark II. I have a 1985 ford mustang destributar, DSII box, starter silinoid, balast resistor, and coil. I think I only need a Key ignition switch. I am planning on connecting those "pig tail connectors" and other things with some spare wire I have. What size wire should I use? The first picture is of what I have. Are the other pictures consistent with what I'm trying to do? It seems like I have found 3 or so different types of duraspark setups but this one seems like the right one for my setup....I think LOL

Looks like you're on the right track. All Duraspark II are the same. I've seen the White wire on the DSII box wired differently as well as the 12V start for the + side of the coil. That's about the only differences I noticed with other diagrams others have posted. The one you have posted up should work just fine.
As for wire, I'd match the gauge of the wire on the Pigtails you have. I think it's 14ga if I remember right. You can buy the connecting pigtails through your parts store if you want to do a really nice clean job with a working connector. I believe Pico carries them too.

__Should work, I just did the same thing on my 73 just to get away from the points dist. on a 302 I put in it. The only thing I did a little different was to take the white wire clear over to the [ S ] on the starter relay . Saved me from having to reach up under the dash to get to the ignition switch, either way will work. I used parts from a 79 F-150 .__
