The last one I got I made sure it had enough height under the hood so I could do beer butt chicken. I just made that the other night by the way.

You assume correctly.. Some of the moistest chicken around. A way to get rid of old beer.

I don't drink much beer. So I just buy it when I cook and pour half down the drain..

Ok, just to make you feel better. It was free outdated beer. The guy who runs the Citgo said anytime I needed beer for my chicken he would give it to me. It is stuff that can't be returned. And free is good.

Yep, gotta like free! I'm probably going to fry a turkey, while I'm off here in the next few weeks. I try to use that oil at least twice, to justify the cost of it.

Now, thats really odd. Frying without oil....
