Redhead S/box--group discount

I know this is an Inline forum, but I didn't want anyone to miss this discount.

Redhead Steering replaces the gears and adds bearings to the input shaft where Ford installed a bushing. They are the best. There are many threads here regarding them.

I started this thread thinking it would be FTE forum that took it over and organized it. But I don't think that is how it works. So, moderators, pls advise if I am going forward in the wrong direction.

I am going forward under the assumption this is organized on a one by one basis, each member calling Redhead Steering themselves and paying for their order privately with a CC.

The only way FTE is involved is that it allows us to join together and post what days it will happen.

I called and spoke with Chris at Redhead. He said the more members who call and order, the greater the discount. If over 36 members order, we each save $60. I like that.

SO, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE $, THEN POST ON THE OTHER FORUMS WITHIN FTE SO WE CAN DRUM UP INTEREST. THE MORE INTEREST, THE MORE $ WE EACH SAVE.

February 15, 16, 17, will be the days to place your order for the discount.

Please respond to the 73-79 forum, thread w/same title, so we know how many we're dealing with. We need 36 to save $60. Thanks.

I can attest to the quality and feel of the Redhead steering gears. I've got one on my Bronco and it eliminated the free play and is about as precise as you can expect on a four wheel drive. If your steering feels squirrelly or loose it's money well spent.

I was told that you call and order/pay, and they put it in the mail w/i 24 hours. Shipping takes 3-5 days. Then you ship your core back when you are ready to reclaim your deposit.

I really wish I could partake in this. A Redhead steering box is something I've really been wanting (and my Bronco desperately needs). Just got nailed hard by taxes this year, so I'm not able. Argh. They're supposed to be awesome.
