new o-rings for my injectors

ok, now what. viewing some of the video's on line they talk about turning the crank before insertion of injectors, for how long. can I soak up remaining diesal out of injector bowl with rags? is that it? thanks everyone....love this site

so I have to get anything that falls under injector cup, fuel, oil.

I leave the glow plug out, put the valve cover back on with a bolt or 2 and bump the starter a few revolutions. If you have someone helping, you can just leave the glow plug out and have them hold the rag over the hole. there is some pressure but not a lot. It will blow the oil out of the hole.It works well.

+1 - Although, it will fly about 10 feet onto the vehicle next to you if they're not covered. Don't ask, the windows was down.

LOL. I discovered the same thing yesterday. Didn't quite make it ten feet though, I was turning over slowly by hand.

It seems like a good idea to me. Some fuel will run into the cylinder when you pull the injector, and it's bound to get into the oil pan.
